Secret The Penetrator (Dildo Bat) weaponIn Brickston, go to the bridge leading east out of the neighborhood. Search for a hidden cave just north of the bridge, right next to the water. Inside the cave is The Penetrator (Dildo Bat) weapon from Saints Row: The Third.
Beavis And Butthead referenceIn the 'Breaking The Law' mission, you get the Pyro elemental. This is a reference to Beavis And Butthead. Beavis was a pyromaniac that said 'Fire Fire' while watching things burn, and 'Breaking the law, breaking the law.'
Chronicles Of Riddick referenceAfter killing Zinyak, Kinzie says 'You keep what you kill.' This is a reference to Chronicles Of Riddick, when Riddick killed the emperor who slaughtered his people.
Dead Island referenceProceed through the main story missions until you can leave the simulator. When you leave the simulator, go over to Keith David, and keep talking to him until he mentions the Dead Island game. One of Keith David's dialogue lines is 'I was twelve hours into Dead Island, now I'll never finish it. I can't forgive Zinyak for that.'
Mass Effect 3 referencesIn addition to the 'romance skipping straight to sex' as a jab at Mass Effect 3's romance system, during the Zin attack on the White House, the Reaper laser sound effect can be heard.
Metal Gear Solid series referencesYou are supposed to sneak through one of the missions by shooting light bulbs, and then the guards under them. When the light bulbs are shot, 'WTF' appears over the guards heads, like the exclamation point in the Metal Gear Solid series. You can also sneak under a box and fight an evil twin, which both occurred in Metal Gear Solid.
Minecraft referenceDuring a Security Deletion mission, the selected target you are required to kill is a Minecraft character.
Saints Row series referencesThe simulation 'Leave It To The Saints' is a parody of Leave It To Beaver. One of the things the mother says is 'Someone named Dex was here asking for you, but I didn't recognize him so I sent him away.' This is a reference to Dex, a former member of the Saints who did security for Ultor, and then turned terrorist in the Saints Row 2 DLC. He was supposed to appear in Saints Row: The Third, but was left out because 'Newcomers to the series wouldn't recognize the character and they didn't want to alienate them.'
Kinzi says that Keith David's voice is similar to Julius. Keith David provided the voice for himself and Julius Little.
Space Invaders referenceAt the beginning of the game when the president uses the gun turret to destroy alien ships, the alien ships will line up just like in the Space Invaders game.
Streets Of Rage referenceDuring a mission, you play a side-scroller called 'Saints Of Rage'.
Terminator referenceDuring the 'Ghost In The Machine' main story mission, you will encounter the 'murder bots' (you will also encounter this enemy throughout the game). They look exactly like the Terminator, and their weapons sound the same as the Terminator's weapons.
The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy referenceThe 'Don't Panic' trophy is earned when the earth is blown up by Zinyak. It is a reference to the words 'Don't Panic' written on The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy's book cover, in which Earth is blown up by an alien race.
The Matrix referencesDuring the 'Zero Cool' main story mission, Zinyak will explain how your race is doomed and will force you to pick a door. This is a reference to The Matrix: Reloaded, when Neo meets the architect of The Matrix.
When you first meet The Warden, you will have to defeat him by jumping into him and absorb him. This is a reference to when Neo jumps into Agent Smith and absorbs him in The Matrix.
They Live referenceDuring Keith David's 'He Lives' Loyalty mission, Roddy Piper attempts to knock some sense into Keith David, who is panicking about an alien invasion. Female Voice 2 (if not all of them) says 'Put on the glasses Keith, we're not aliens'. This is a reference to the movie They Live, in which Roddy Piper tries to force Keith David to put on a pair of glasses that reveal aliens who are disguised as humans.
Tron referenceDuring a Virus Collection mission, you will have to retrieve a bike. If you look closely at the bike, you will see it is the bike from the Tron movies.
Weapon referencesAlmost all weapon customizations in the game are a pop culture reference. The following are a few examples:

- The Captains pistol is from Firefly. Its plating form uses Shiny, which was a term for 'good' on Firefly.
- There is a phaser that jokes about Star Trek's redshirts saying 'Aliens never attack red', which was the opposite occurrence on Star Trek.
- Above the phaser is Han Solo's blaster, with a reference to the 'Han shot first' meme.
It is not possible to reach the Nuke Plant with a single glide, no matter the height of the starting jump. However, although you cannot touch the ground or rooftops, you land on the sides of buildings, telephone poles, trees, etc. Run up the sides of those structures to continue your glide. A lot of classic elements return, in some very different ways.
By Jon RyanIt’s already clear that Saints Row IV is going to be wildly different from any game in the series to date. The gang’s leader has become the president. You have superpowers and exist in a Matrix-like simulation. There are aliens.
While some hardcore fans of the franchise may argue that SR4 is “jumping the shark,” the game still feels like an appropriate addition to the Saints Row lineup, with its crass humor and over-the-top action. This isn’t some reskin of The Third that players will immediately feel at home in – the developers have tweaked, changed, added and removed a TON of content since the last installment, and it makes for an experience that feels both familiar and totally new.
Customization is King
A staple of the Saints Row franchise has always been its deeply customizable game worlds and character creation systems. Players can craft perfect replicas of themselves, or go full-on Dr. Frankenstein and create a hideous abomination with which to terrorize the citizens of Steelport.
The customization features in Saints Row IV are no different, and introduce new options to truly let your imagination run wild. Want to wreak havoc with Han Solo’s signature blaster? Go ahead. Or maybe you’d prefer dual-wielding nail guns as you escape the cops – the choice is yours. While the weapons you can equip all have the same basic classifications (Heavy Pistol, Light SMG, etc) and upgradable stats, each weapon category comes with several different skins and variations for you to choose from (So far our favorites around the office have been Mal Reynolds’ sci-fi revolver and the Colonial Marine pulse rifle).
Unfortunately, the nature of the game demands that certain aspects of the previous customization systems be removed (we can't say too much without spoiling anything, but know that it does make sense within the game), and so players are no longer able to customize their hideouts, cribs and safe houses - which is a shame, considering it would be great fun to put stripper poles all over The White House.
More Challenging Gameplay
Many of the activities from Saints Row: The Third return for this sequel, including fan-favorites like Tank Mayhem and Insurance Fraud, but in this iteration players will find that the activities are far more challenging. For example, when ragdolling around in SR3’s Insurance Fraud minigame, the average score needed to pass the activity on its hardest difficulty was $450,000. Now, with the addition of superpowers that allow you to hurl yourself into buildings at super-sonic speeds, the lowest score needed to pass the challenge on easy is a whopping $300,000 – which means you’ll need to practice flinging yourself across Steelport for a while before completing all three tiers (bronze, sliver and gold - also a new addition) of all the different activities.
Steelport 2.0 is a Vertical City
Saints Row: The Third did a fantastic job of improving on aerial combat with it’s addition of the VTOL hover-jets and futuristic rocket cycles. While the previous games had helicopters and planes you could fly, SR3 made it much easier to drop yourself off on top of a skyscraper and do some naked base-jumping to get back to street level. That being said, the majority of the game was spent on the ground, both on foot and in vehicles. With the addition of powers like speed running up walls or super jumping tall buildings in a single bound (literally), Steelport becomes a concrete jungle gym for your character to explore every inch of, be it at street level or atop towering skyscrapers. It also means that new gameplay types are opened up, so it should come as no surprise that..
It Has Platforming.
One of the new additions to the activity roster is a challenging climb to the top of a tower - similar to Assassin’s Creed’s viewpoints or Far Cry 3’s radio towers. While one might not immediately associate a game like Saints Row, the new powers of super-speed and (almost) flight make it a less jarring addition than you might expect. Jumping and wall-running your way to the top of these structures is not only satisfying and fun, but also helps you take over more of the city and upgrade your superpowers so you can jump higher, run faster, and nut-punch aliens further into space.
No Respect
Campbell hausfeld wg3090 specs manual. In former Saints Row titles, you needed to gain the respect of your crew and the people of your city before you could tackle more of the game’s story missions. While this mechanic is still present, ‘Respect’ is now simply referred to as ‘XP.’ While some may say it’s better to call a horse a horse, the lack of an actual Respect-O-Meter makes SR IV feel somewhat less ‘Saints Row’-ey.
No More Factions
Another franchise element that isn’t making a reappearance in Saints Row IV are the multiple factions you’ve had to face off against in previous titles. Instead of being embroiled in turf wars with three rival gangs, the Saints now face only one enemy. You’ll still have to complete missions and activities to wrestle territories out of enemy hands, but gone are the three-way battle-royales of the past titles in the series.
Downloadable Cars
The fact that Saints Row IV takes place almost entirely within a computer simulation allows players to take advantage of some shortcuts that will undoubtedly make their lives easier – the most notable of which is the ability to instantly save any vehicle you’re in for later use. Instead of sneaking into a military base, hijacking a tank, and racking up millions in property damage while you transport it back to your hideout; you can now hop in the driver’s seat and “upload” the vehicle to your virtual garage, then “download” it later to wherever you happen to be on the map. It’s a handy feature that will truly allow players to get the most out of their time in Steelport 2.0.
Music Anywhere
Similar to the ability to download cars, the fact that your character exists within a computer program means that the radio stations that play in your car doesn’t have to stay in your car. It actually harkens back to a mechanic found in the original Saints Row, where you had an MP3 player that let the music keep playing after you’d exited your vehicle. You’d be surprised at how satisfying it is to fight aliens, blow up police cars, and generally wreak havoc while listening to Haddaway’s 'What is Love.'
Collectibles Are Key
While entries in the series included collectible items, there is a much greater (and necessary) focus on it in Saints Row IV. Instead of finding stashes of drugs or laundered money in exchange for quick cash, collectibles now range from data clusters that will upgrade your superpowers to BioShock-esque audio logs that give you a deeper look into the universe that Volition has created within the game. With over 1,200 items to find, players can expect to spend as much time collecting items as they will killing aliens.
Cranking it to 11
Saints Row has always been synonymous with “insanity”. Whether it was using a septic truck to cover a city block in sewage in SR2 or participating in Professor Ghenki’s Ethical Reality Climax in The Third, the ridiculous activities and side missions have become expected for any entry in the franchise – and Saint’s Row IV doesn’t disappoint. The optional activities found in SR4 take the fan favorites of previous titles (though sadly Septic Avenger hasn’t appeared in the last two games) and cranks them up to 11. Mayhem, where players earn cash and experience for destroying as much of the surrounding area as possible, now puts you in the cockpit of UFOs, hover tanks and warrior mechs. Prof. Ghenki makes a return, only instead of navigating his torturous mazes you now use telekinesis to catapult cars, tanks, and innocent civilians through specific targets. The new variations on old game modes take what players loved about the original versions and, as has become tradition for the Saints Row series, makes them more ridiculous, more challenging, and most importantly, more fun.

Leave It To Beaver Reference[edit]
In the 60's version of Steelport when you walk down the stairs of your house, you see the words 'Leave It To The Saints.' This seems to be a nod to the 60s television sitcom, 'Leave It to Beaver.'
Men in Black Weapon and Developer Shooting Gallery[edit]
Find the Let's Pretend store in New Baranec (southwest Steelport), and go inside. You may be able to do this at any Let's Pretend store. Shoot the 'Employees Only' door with any weapon until it opens. Go down the hallways and stairs to reach a secret room containing a colorful shooting gallery with images of the developers of the game. There is also a special weapon on the chair to the right of the entrance door called the Loud Locust. It is a tiny pistol that is very powerful. The weapon is a reference to the Noisy Cricket from the Men In Black movie.
Star Wars Reference[edit]
Saints Row IV isn't even out yet but with the recent release of the Inauguration Station the game's first easter egg comes in the form of a unique little outfit within the game. If the player goes into the Outfit's section of Planet Zin they will be able to find the Ransom Collector. The Ransom Collector is a reference to Boba Fett from Star Wars and the Outfit is very similar to the armour worn by Boba in the films.
During one of the main story quests in an area similar to where you fought Matt Miller in the previous game you will see coding appear on the screen. One of the lines of code says, 'initiating order 66'. which for those of you who don't know is a reference to episode three where the clones are ordered to kill all jedi.
Dead Island Easter Egg[edit]
Early in the game you meet Keith David (Vice President of the United States). He makes pointed reference to playing a previous Deep Silver game, Dead Island. Deep Silver is also the distributor Saints Row 4. Additionally, when you exit the simulation in the final mission, the command prompt shows up, one of the commands reads crossover_dead_island_saints_row.
How to Customize Non-customizable Vehicles
[edit]
It is pretty much the exact same in Saints Row: The Third but I decided to show you anyway.
Spongebob the Movie Reference[edit]
Early in the game when you are in the 60's Version of Steelport and at the resturaunt to greet your Fans there is a song playing in the backround. This is an instrumental version of Spongebob and Patrick's song: *Now That We're Men'.
Harry Potter Reference
[edit]
When I was playing, I went on top of a tower and I saw this broom and I decided to ride it. It was pretty fun exept that it said it was a VTOL.
The Penetrator[edit]
Every one Remembers the Iconic Penetrator/Dildo Bat from Saints Row: The Third. It can be found in a cave behind a holographic bush, below a bridge on the western end of the map.
Metal Gear Solid Reference[edit]
In the mission From Asha With Love, there are numerous reference to metal gear solid such as enemies getting a symbol over head and the alert noise from MGS can be heard. Towards the middle of the mission you get inside of a cardboard box and crawl around murdering people in secrecy
Streets of Rage Reference[edit]
The majority of the story mission The Very Next Day is an homage to side-scrolling beat em' up games like Streets of Rage.
Infinite Wardens[edit]
You must be in a co-op game for this to work. Go to a speed rift with your friend. When there, both you and your friend must press Y or Triangle simultaneously. If done correctly, you should not be in the rift, but your mini map won't show you any activities. Now get your wanted rating up until a warder appears, kill him, and another should immediately drop from the sky to take his place. It does not disable trophies/achievments and is good for the zoo keeper challenge/achievement.
Matrix References[edit]

Considering the insane possibilities character customization gives you, stores are one of the most interesting and fun aspects of Saints Row IV.
There are three clothing stores in the game: Planet Zin, Nobody Loves Me and Let's Pretend. In each of them, you can find a fair amount of clothes and costumes to buy and dress your character.
You can also visit a garage and customize your vehicle: you can change it for a different model, tune its engine, reinforce its body or enhance its tires.
There are also tattoo parlors where you can paint every part of your character's body.
And if you don't like your starting character's appearance, you can choose to have a plastic surgery and modify any aspect of your character's body, or even change their sex.
And of course, there is the weapon store known as Friendly Fire. You can buy and customize your weapons there.
